With over 18 years of experience, Travis Klingler is a well-established makeup artist based in the greater Pittsburgh area. Travis prides himself on the diversity of his technique, from creating gruesome special effects to classic, glamorous bridal looks. His work has been seen in print and fashion magazines, on television, in the theatre, and at weddings.
Travis has had the pleasure to work on celebrity clientele such as Jamie Lee Curtis, David Conrad, Kristin Chenoweth, Nicole Curtis, and the US Women’s Soccer Team. His work has appeared in the pages and on the covers of Glamour Magazine, Pittsburgh Magazine, Metropolitan Magazine, and Whirl Magazine. He also worked with MTV for their Video Music Awards promotions in 2012.
Travis’s diversity across the makeup industry also extends to extensive work in theatrical makeup. He served as principal wig and makeup artist for several productions and a world premiere for the Minnesota Opera. His theatrical work also extends to Microscopic Opera Company, Pittsburgh Opera, Pittsburgh CLO, and Pittsburgh Public Theatre.
Travis is a graduate of the Pittsburgh Beauty Academy and the Joe Blasco Makeup School in Orlando, Florida. He is trained in MAC Cosmetics through level advanced 2.
